The upcoming ‘Hitman’ (which is sometimes called a reboot, since it has no subtitle) won’t be released in December as it was scheduled before, but in March 2016. Developer Io Interactive and Square Enix have posted a statement on the official Hitman website, which says as follows:
“These few extra months will mean we can add more to the launch content of the game, more than we had originally planned, and then follow with a tighter frequency of updates, which ultimately will create a better game for everyone. And in the end, that’s what we’re all looking for.”
This is probably a reaction to the many players who were upset about the episodic release of new levels and worried how much content there would be in the first place, since Hitman will be sold for a full price of 49,99$ on Steam.
